Policies

No generators in walk-in camping!
Absolutely no generators in Walk-In Camping.
Generators for RVs must be accompanied by fire barriers & extinguishers
If you bring a generator for your RV / Car / Boutique campsite, you MUST have a fire barrier and fire extinguisher accompanying.
No open fire!
Wolf Run Ranch is located in a fire prone region of eastern Oregon. All fires start small so please do your part to help us prevent open fire! We will NOT allow any open flame (Fires or Candles) anywhere on the grounds during the event. Smoking is limited to designated smoking areas scattered throughout the event site and camping areas. Camping stoves can be used in the community kitchen areas in the camping areas and we ask patrons to use EXTREME caution when using camping stoves.
No illicit drug use or sales.
If you or any person you are with are caught doing or distributing illicit substances, we have no choice but to remove your wristband and press charges with the Wasco County Sheriff’s office (federal jurisdiction means marijuana is illegal!)
Vehicle Search
Keep in mind, All Vehicles are subject to search upon entering Wolf Run Ranch property. This is for the protection of all parties and should be easy if you play by the rules. Should you choose to refuse to have your vehicle searched, your tickets will be confiscated and you will be turned around. The box office is in a separate location from the What The Festival event and camping areas. Your vehicle will be processed in the order in which you arrived and you will be sent to the parking / camping areas accordingly post search. Please be patient!
No open container & NO GLASS policy
A moderate* amount of alcohol will be permitted for patrons who are 21+. We will be enforcing a strict no open container policy as well as a no glass policy. This is for everyone’s safety and consideration, please obey the rules or we will be forced to remove your wristband and remove you from the property. (*modest is described as 1 (one) case of canned beer and 1 (one) plastic bottle of alchohol PER 21+ PERSON)
No Weapons, Fireworks of any kind or Nitrous Oxide / whip-its.
These items will be confiscated and violators will be removed from the property via Wasco Co Sheriffs.
No renegade sound!
You may not bring your own PA or large soundsystem. Small portable radios or battery powered speakers are okay, but please be respectful of your neighbors.
No Dogs or Pets of any kind!
To avoid any significant delay, it is highly recommended that you notify us in advance if you have a special needs situation. We retain the right of refusal as Oregon law does not recognize “therapy dogs” for special needs. Please get in touch with us at tickets@whatthefestival.com for more information.

Parking
Please follow ALL the instructions of our parking & traffic management staff on your way into the event as well as during the exodus. Please remain patient as you enter the property and also as you are guided off of the property.
Re-entry policy
RE-Entry only allowed during posted box office hours. Any vehicle arriving after the box office has closed will be denied entry. All re-entry individuals are required to pay a re-entry fee of $40 per person at the time of re-entry to the box office.
Medical and Safety
We work hard to keep you safe and secure. For your sake, please take note of medical and security locations on our site. If you are experiencing an emergency, please remain calm and locate any event staff or radioed personnel as soon as possible.
Personal health and safety
While we can throw the party for you, we can’t keep you healthy, that’s up to you! Please drink plenty of WATER. If you plan on consuming alcohol please do so in a responsible way. Please be prepared for darkness and bring a flashlight / batteries with you on the grounds. It can be very bright during daylight hours we ask that you and your camp mates wear plenty of sunscreen to avoid any discomfort.

General Questions

Can I bring Alcohol? What about Glass?
AGAIN, NO GLASS WILL BE ALLOWED AT ALL! You may bring a modest* amount of personal alcohol. Please be smart and responsible. If at any time you are attempting to leave the site, be prepared for a sobriety check! (*modest is described as 1 (one) case of canned beer and 1 (one) plastic bottle of alcohol PER 21+ PERSON)
Can I bring my own sound system?
No renegade sound! You may not bring your own PA or large soundsystem. Small portable radios or battery powered speakers are okay, but please be respectful of your neighbors.
Can I bring my bicycle?
Sorry, no bikes allowed.
Can I bring my camping stove or BBQ?
Camping stoves may only be used in the designated community cooking areas. Smoking will only be permitted on site in designated areas. Please do not bring your fire spinning tools.
Can I come on Thursday July 25th? What's the early entry fee?
We strongly encourage everyone to arrive on Friday after the gates open. If carpooling or desires bring you to the festival on Thursday evening, then there will be a $30 early entry fee per person at the gate, unless you are an OMG passholder
Are there any age restrictions? Can I bring my kids?
The entire event, including all General Admission, is 18+. Only the OMG VIP Experience is 21+. Please make other arrangements for your children, sorry.
Is re-entry allowed in and out of the festival site?
Re-entry is highly discouraged and there will be a sobriety check if you try to leave the grounds at night with your vehicle. Additionally, there will be a $40 security access fee to re-enter with your car.
Are there showers?
Yes! Amazing showers and other wellness services provided by The OASIS. There will be a fee for showers.
Will there be vegan, gluten-free, meat, etc. options?
Yes! Our food vendors span the entire gamut and will be offering a wide variety of delicious, healthy meal options.
Will water be provided? What about ice?
Yes! Drinking water be available for free and ice will be for sale.
Can a friend use my print-at-home ticket even though it says my name?
Unless your ticket was issued within 14 days of the event, it WILL require identification that matches the name on the ticket to combat fraud.

Tickets

How do I change the name on my ticket? What if I buy a ticket from a 3rd party?
What The Festival does not guarantee any tickets purchased on Craigslist or any other 3rd party. We encourage all sales to go directly through EventBrite as there are plenty of GA and OMG tickets still available. If you bought or are selling a ticket via a 3rd party site, we will not guarantee them or issue any refunds should there be a problem with the Print At Home Ticket. Please make all purchases directly from us via the EventBrite site (Please keep in mind that even if a ticket has an EventBrite logo on it, that it could be fraudulent unless it is purchased directly from their site). Also be aware that fraud can exist when selling to an unsuspecting 3rd party.
What is the price for children?
What The Festival is an 18+ event and no children will be admitted.
I selected a Print at Home Ticket, but I dont have a printer, how do I get my ticket?
To ensure a speedy entry into the festival we appreciate all patrons making arrangements to print their ticket before coming to the WTF box office.
I bought a ticket and now can not attend the event, can I get a refund or change the name of my pass?
All sales are final (Please review our Policies Page). If you need to sell your pass, please do so independently. Please visit http://help.eventbrite.com/customer/en_us/portal/articles/428584 for all name changes. 
I bought a ticket and never received a confirmation email
 Please email tickets@whatthefestival.com and we will look up your order for you
Are one day passes going to be sold?
NO, we will only be selling full weekend festival passes.
What if I buy a General Admission festival pass but want to upgrade to OMG Experience later?
No problem! While supplies last we have an OMG Upgrade option that you can pair with your General Admission ticket to earn OMG status. Must be 21+ only.

Camping + Parking

Does my festival pass include camping?
Yes, your festival pass will include camping but parking fees are not included, please CLICK HERE for more information regarding parking.
Is there handicapped / ADA parking?
Yes, we will have ADA parking available in the closest section of general parking. Please make sure your hang tag or ADA plates are visible and our staff will guide you to the handicapped parking area.  If you are car camping, you will still need a Car Camping pass.  All Car Camping spots are ADA accessible.
Can my friends I camp together in the Boutique Car Camping area?
In order to ensure you and your friends camp together in the Boutique Camping area, you will have to arrive together. The spaces are first come, first served, but the entire Boutique Camping area is relatively small so even if you’re not next to each other you won’t be too far away.
Does everybody in the traveling vehicle have to buy a parking pass?
No, only one parking pass is needed per vehicle. Everyone must have a weekend pass but only one camping/parking pass is needed for the group/vehicle. Please see the Tickets page for more information.
What if I have a General Admission pass but all my friends are camping in the Boutique Premium camping area, can I camp with them?
Sorry, unfortunately no. Only Boutique camping pass holders will be allowed in the Boutique Premium Car/RV/Trailer Camping areas. FYI: General Admission camping is very close to the Boutique Premium Camping .
Where should I camp if I want a more quiet, private experience?
Quiet Camp Area adjacent to our GA parking area is a short distance away from the action and will offer you the quietest camping experience.
On-site services
We provide the following services on site.

  • ATM machines (at the box office and the marketplace)
  • Wheelbarrow rentals ($5 deposit). Use this service to shuttle your camping gear to your camping area. Please return your wheelbarrow for to receive your deposit!
  • Showers
  • Clean drinking water (free of charge!)
  • Food and beverage will be available for sale during posted marketplace hours (some are open 24hrs per day)
  • Craft and gifts are available for sale at the marketplace during marketplace hours
  • Ice and bottled water will be available for sale
  • Port-o-Lets (toilets) are available with wash stations throughout the event site
  • Telephone is available for emergency use only
